WOW!!! JanieB - You just never know what kind of a deal you are getting.  So far I have only bought from Amazon and reliable quilt shops.  Personally, I  like to see and touch what I am buying.

working on interview questions and starting to select fabric for a pieced quilt.. and sorted some papers today... sounds like a lot but it's not as I am  still distracted bythe darn snow!!

which looks like it stopped but it's blowing hard and only 20 degrees... we are not used to this!

I have a coworker who is having a granddaughter. Their theme
will be ladybugs but I have no ladybug fabric neither does
my LQS. I plan on making a charm quilt so I wondered if
anyone here who might have some ladybug fabric would be
willing to send me a 5” charm square (just folded in a
regular envelope would be fine) and I’ll send you a 5” charm
square of a fabric you might like. Any takers?

Robyn, I will look for you, and I am making a run to the LQS in the next few days too...I know I have/had some at my parents house but I think it has been assumed into Mom's stash =)

Today I was attempting to put a binding on one of the quilts I made "at camp" but it was slow going with my helper. He was very persistent!

Hi Robynsnest--I may have a lead on some ladybug fabric.  This website stocks novelty fabrics of all types and I have used them in the past to find college and sports fabrics.

Hope this helps.

Robynsnest,
I made a ladybug quilt a few years ago.  I'll look tomorrow, but I think I still have a couple of ladybug fabrics.  A little later...I did find a few, Robynsnest.  If you want a square of these, send me your mailing address, and I will ship them off.

QuilterMary--what a cute picture of your assistant!  Mine helps me, but not usually so intently.  She just sits on whatever I'm working on and swishes her tail back and forth so that I have to be extra careful not to stitch her tail!  My little picture that I use is actually her.   Smiley  She thinks that whatever I'm sewing is HERS first, and then whoever it really is for can have it.  LOL

My new kitty just went batting a small piece of blue scrap all over the studio. He loves to play and the feather wand was not being manned so he made his own fun. I guess he'll fit right in here in the quilting studio. I'm on the second big block of my camp Sloanie project. Hope to get it on the frame soon. I'm still practicing on the frame and the OP chanllenge. Pat, you get me moving. Thanks.
