Karen, LOVE the Jelly Roll Race, especially like the little corner stone squares. That really gives the strips some sparkle.  Your Peppermint quilt really turned out nicely.  I know how quilting only makes it better and better.  I've forgotten, is this YOUR quilt or a gift?

I don't think there is anything like a "late" quilt.  Just one yet to be LOVED. Your aunt will be thrilled.

Today, I'm washing windows and screens.  Painter is painting the ceiling in the Treehouse.  When we built the room, I painted the ceiling a pale blue.  Wanted it white even since then.  Today -- it will be.

I need some help putting the furniture back in the YELLOW room, anyone got extra time today??

Karen, absolutely love the quilt show!!! The peppermints turned out so cute - you'll have it back in time to snuggle still this year.  The jelly roll race is wonderful!!

Not to worry about the quilt for aunt - send it and fess up.  Tell it like you told us - you thought you had mailed it, blah, blah, blah and put it all away - wondering why she never told you it didn't get there. We've all done those things, and she'll understand, and you won't have to remember what you said - LOL!!!

Gosh, Jacque, you should have lined me up yesterday - all ready got plans - hee hee!!!! Sounds like your plan is coming together tho!!  Wink

Karen love your quilts! Got to looking at the one going to aunt, on some of the 4 patches where 1 patch was a lighter color, makes it look like a little heart floating across. That would be neat to do that pattern all over that way on purpose. Your aunt will be thrilled.

Spent most of the day cutting up a HUGE container of scraps - only Thimbleberrie.  Was fun remembering some of the things I made from them.  Found my Sunny Boy hair in some of them.  He used to get in it and make a nest.  Not finished yet!
