Shirley, love the finished witches.  Especially like the outside border.  I know I have that pattern as I've seen it and thought it was cute.  But seeing yours makes me want to try it.  Dang another one to add to my to do list.

Thank you!  There was to be one more black border for the witches, but I knew I wouldn't have enough of my backing so I omitted it! 

I may cut out two other tablerunners, but right now I'm just relaxing as hubby came home early this morning.  But that is okay...I did get thinking done

Love all the work going on in here with the various projects.

I finished the Moose on the Loose and have it ready to go to quilter this week.

What a fun process with only an idea in my head to begin!!

This is just gorgeous!!!  Is it a pattern?   I have a son who would love a quilt with these realistic looking moose!   Great job, Karen.

Thank you Shirley.  Bruce (My SIL) wanted dark and heavy.  Since they keep missing the moose on their travels through their Rocky Mountain travels, I made this.  I started with one square and then decided 3 more would finish it.  It is about 60x76.  I cut 2 1/2" strips and did the 4 log cabin blocks using up a lot of my autumn fabrics.  In order to get it longer (it finished out as square) I added strips and wide borders on the top and bottom.

I had so much fun planning and sewing it.

Karen you Moose on the Loose is FABULOUS!  I did enjoy making the applique - am very nervous about the actual stitching of it next week!
