Here is what I have been working on since January.  I finished the embroidery in June this year it was a bit of a hard slog,  but I think the finished result is worth it.  The final border is scolloped and I have a few ideas how I am going to quilt it.... but my quilting is usually a bit organic and I make it up as I go along but I am going to give it a rest and move on to other things for a while.... some clothes for my daughter and then get back to it as I am kind of sick of the sight of it at the moment.

Hoping to get to some designing today... but maybe I should clear the clutter and start fresh tomorrow.. what what you do? Remember I have a small house and it's ALL the business... hard to get away from anything!

I'm always working on finishing up. Sometimes I can't believe I've started so many things and never completed them. As to your "nude snowman", you're excused. I don't know how you accomplish all you do! I made your snowman quilt years ago, maybe 7 or 8 and still have not embellished them. (hangs her head in shame) But I hang it every year and my naked snowmen smile their faceless smiles from December till March.

I had a HUGE GIGANTIC mess going on in my living room and dining room. Quilts that needed to be sorted and returned back to where they usually live.  I had folders and items from the last FEW events that needed filed.. and stuff needed to get out of the dining room and put back to where I could find them later!

So I accomplished pretty much most of what I wanted to do... yeah me!!! tonight i'm going to play with some applique drawings for a book... and maybe some fabric for the current book I'm working on.  no writing, or any more sorting for me tonight!

Hi Pat,  worked on some clothes for my daughter yesterday.  Couldn't remember how to thread the overlocker so ended up overlocking on the sewing machine so only got the legs of her pants together, instead of a whole outfit.  Will get back to it tonight after they go to bed.  The outfit is so cute, pattern by Patty Young and I am using her fabrics as well.

Well it is a bit embarrassing how long I have had the overlocker that I couldn't live without (at the time) and actually used it.  I have a friend coming over on Monday to do some wool dyeing and she tells me she is an expert at threading overlockers so I can finish the next outfit with the overlocker at least.

I am working on quilting a Christmas row quilt that was started a looooooong time ago.  In fact, I think it was a "row of the month" that the Sloanies all worked on.  I am quilting one row at a time and all will not be quilted the same, so it will not be an "allover the quilt" quilting design.  Sure hope this is going to look OK.   Huh
