I tried a little thread painting today... that is all I did actually... it took a couple hour trip to the fabric store in the middle to get more colors. Posted the pics on flickr. Unfortunately you can't see the thread on the large block, I didn't get enough of a close up, but it actually looks nicer than the butterfly.

OMG! Those are so beautiful. I love them all. Such choices and differences the fabrics make of the same pattern. The patterns are so great, Pat. You are Da Bom! Cheesy

I posted my Part 1 of Meadow Breeze BOM to the Flickr site today. Smiley  What fun.

I hopefully will finish Part 2 today.  Looking forward to Part 3 already!  Thanks Pat.

Finally pulled the fabrics from my stash and joined in. Yesterday I cut and sewed all day to catch up with everyone else. I added photos to the flicker page.

Pat   I got all my pieces fused and cut out.   Now how do I know just how to place them on the background?     Do you just guess from the small picture?    I am new at this.    Thanks for your help,  I think all the finished ones are beautiful!

One more question?     Should the stem and leaf on the butterfly come to the very edge of the 6.5 x 6.5 background material??
Thanks again for any help.
