Leaving for "under the snow blanket" Maryland next week, Grandson turns a year old and Grandma is going to the party.  My DIL chose a "puppy" theme for the party and keeping with the Camp Sloanie "use up your stash" theme, I went through my stash and found some scraps from a dog quilt I had made sometime back.
I have made 15 "doggie bags" to fill with party favors to give the attending kids to take home .  I figure the bags (7 1/2 x 9 ") are small enough that they can be used to put small toys in by the kids later.
The front of the bags all have the "Canine Chronicle" print and the back varies between the bones and the hearts and bones.  Easy-peasy, cut 2 panels and 2 linings, sewed on the outside and pinked the edges.  Used up lots of pieces, some I sewed together to make a whole panel, but it worked out great by adding decorative stitches.
I also made him an I SPY quilt that I will post later.

Happy Valentine!    Ana
