Red Wing quilt guild show is Feb. 4-5

More than 200 quilts and crafted apparel will be displayed in the Red Wing Evening Star Quilt Guild's show Feb. 4-5 at Sargent's Nursery in Red Wing.

The approximately 60 members of the guild have participated in several group projects to produce pieced and applique quilts. Guild members also have made items, such as lap quilts and wheel chair bags, for local charities.

Eight vendors will be selling their quilting and related merchandise at the show. They include Rather Bee Quilting of Lake City; Riverside Quilting, of River Falls; and Fourth & Main Fabrics of Cannon Falls.
