First, I'm taking the time to ketchup with an old friend.  Lunch, quilt shop, and scrapbook store.  Then I will have to visit the grocery store.

I will try later to find my project and post a picture.

I saw the cutest flamingo Christmas fabric at my local quilt store, Klassy Katz, today.  I had already checked out when I saw it.  Now I'm kicking myself for not buying some.

I am working on my LQS Block of the Month this weekend.  I did the blocks from March this week and I think I can do April's blocks tomorrow.

We are doing paper piecing, w/o sewing on the paper, New York Beauty blocks.  We get the fabric & freezer paper patterns for 4 quarters each month.

Of course, I also have to get my son (16 y/o) ready to leave for camp on Sunday.  Yikes!  First time away!   Smiley   So I'll do some laundry and organizing as well.

I have LOTS to ketchup on as I didn't get to any quilting in April & May while I prepared for both my kids to graduate.   Roll Eyes

Love the Walk in the Moonlight.  I still want to make this quilt.  I have a gift bag with all my fabrics labeled and ready to go.

I'm ketchuping (I know that's not a real word) on my Secret Garden quilt.  I worked on the pinwheels tonight and have two sides done.  I would have had the other two sides done except I sewed them together in the wrong sequence!  It's not a real sewing session without some seam ripper time!  I'll post some photos in the morning-it's too freaking hot here in MI to think! Well I'm ketching up but not on what I planned. Tying a quilt on the living room floor is tricky when everyone is home for the weekend! So instead I've worked at my machine and got 2 Seasons of Grace blocks done. And the centre to another quilt I'm working on assembled. And 2 blocks for another giant project - a queen quilt for my bed. So yes, I'm getting stuff done, just plans changed. Oh, and the toddler has a yucky runny nose and fever too. So mommy is needed more than normal Smiley Posted some progress at flickr. Thanks for the push, Pat. Now pass the ketchup Wink Cheesy

I ketchuped aLOT this afternoon on my OP quilt. Sunday pressure, I guess Wink I enlisted the help of my daughter to cut the floss as I went and it made the tying go quicker. Plus she kept saying how much she loves it so that help motivate me too Smiley Even hubby said, 'don't use leftovers, use long thread', so I did, and that really made things go faster!! So, one baseball game later, I'm more than half done the tying on the quilt. Still have to trim the ties I did today, but will do that when I finish them all. Which now looks like I'll manage before Friday( when I'd like to have the quilt DONE and ON my daughter's bed). Yay! Love looking at all the great projects everyone else is working on. Thanks for a fun focussed weekend Pat!!
