I made my final fabric decision, and got my applique pieces drawn off today.  I plan to work on it more tomorrow.

I think the decision on WHAT to do is sometimes the hardest part ... as soon at clicks it falls together... so excited to hear yours is coming along!!!!

how's the challenge going??? I have mine just about done had such fun adding the embellishments and I used designer names for the quilting, boy I found a bunch, had to do some google homework to find them, but it was very interesting.
I added some closeups over on flickr
come everyone  I can't wait to see more of Paris!

OMG Betty it is turning out FABULOUS!! Love how you repeated fabric too, that really ties it together.

I SO want an Eiffel Tower Quilt.. really.... i can see it in my mind.. think anyone ELSE would buy an Eiffel tower pattern? Wonder if a magazine would publish it?

Betty, your embellishments look great.  I love the detail in the quilting and all of the ways you incorporated the theme.  I can't wait to see more.

Those of you lucky enough to have been to Paris, maybe you could do photo trasfer with your pictures, I think that would be so cool.

I have this idea in my head for a quilt for this challenge.....and I have the kit......and I have photos and great memories of a trip to Paris...........but I am realizing that I may not have enough time to do this challenge. Doesn't mean, I won't ever do it. It just means I won't be done by the deadline date. I will look forward to seeing all the quilt entries and then the ultimate winner. :-)
