Patriotic Quilt "Cake"

I won't be able to make anything special for the holiday as my husband and I will be celebrating the Fourth tomorrow by taking our daughter up to Baltimore to enroll at Johns Hopkins University's program for high school seniors.  We will probably end up eating at the college's dining hall.  Hope they have decent food!

My daughter was in dbl enrollment also her senior year - made the college go a lot quicker.  It will be a memorable day. Take lots of pics!!

How exciting Annabelle! That cake looks cool too. I might just have to take that with me to a party tonight.

Linda:  Baltimore is 65 miles from our home in Northern Virginia, about 1.5-hour drive with no traffic problems.  But our daughter does NOT want us to visit on a weekend during her 5 weeks there.  Anyway, the kids will be taking weekend trips to other places in Maryland, go down to DC, and up to Hershey Park in PA.
