I'm not, I tell you, I'm not an Obsessed Quilter!

I'm the techie behind Pat Sloan & Co. I do all the IT, shipping, admin work here but I do have my own hobbies... ride motorcycle -BMW-(http://www.flickr.com/photos/33954075@N07/3390466896/in/set-72157615986865332/), car guy stuff and build computers. I don't really do much with quilting as a hobby but I do pack all your orders and send them out. Below is a photo of the Pat Sloan & Co. command center. Shipping center is immediately behind the camera.

What does your significant other do for hobbies? Or have them post in this topic. Let me know.... please.

My other half when he is not at work, (he works a 2wk on and 2wk off rotation on the north slope) spends his time out at the mining claim dredging for gold. we have a cabin down there and I have a wonderful sewing area set up so I can hang out there too.

If ya'll don't know it, GreggS is the bomb!  I have told Pat repeatedly that I want him cloned and his clone sent to Mid MI!  WOO HOO!  Love the setup Gregg.  No other half for me, just me and the animules!  Guess I better put Krissy in there too!

Tammy, your place sounds awesome as well as the 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off with the work, that would work out great for me.  Especially to have a get away like yours,,,,sounds like Heaven!

Cabana Boy kicking off in a few hours!  WOO HOO!

My other half when he isn't working as an auto technician, fancy name for mechanic, is a NASCAR nut! He watches NASCAR, collects die cast NASCAR metal cars and autograph NASCAR cards. He has his own room for this. He also is a Hot Rod nut and rebuilds old cars for people out in our barn which is half barn, half shop. When we go to any NASCAR races I always make sure I have some type of hand work to take with me in the truck because when he is on a mission to get to a race there is no stopping along the way! LOL

I restored this 1961 Chevy truck a few years back. Fun project...I would like to do more but Pat Sloan & Co. occupies all my time right now.

My son is a big Jimmy Johnson & Jeff Gordon fan and I have a standing bet with him where I back the M&M car no matter who is driving it (this has been going on for a few years now and sadly I rarely win, but my son and I get to watch NASCAR together so it's all good.)  My husband is in a gun club and shoots in high powered rifle competitions.  This is good too, because ammo is much more expensive than thread, and his gun costs as much as a sewing machine  Wink

My other half, when he isn't formulating brakes for cars and trucks, is working in the garden (vegetable and flower) or fishing.  That's why our vacation in a cabin in KY in the Land between the Lakes... he can fish and I bring my machine to sew... also a trip to Paducha is usually in order.  I've bought 2  patterns and civil war reproduction material to make... now all I need is 48 hour days!

Sorry Gregg but do not know about guys but some of us gals know all to well all about floppys.
My D1 uses that so no I can´t get rid of them just yet even though I want to because they are so fragile.
