WOW Jaqui!  Your set up looks great! I love those clealr bins where you can see what's in them!  I currently have boxes that I label with a sharpie and a few letter trays that I've stored UFO and Not Yet Started projects I want to work on.  DH offered to build me some shelves, but we have yet to agree upon a design that works for both of us.

What fun this weekend was with Camp Sloanie and all of the camp quilters!  I think having a set timeline helped me get this top organized and done.  I love all the pictures of the quilt tops that have posted.  This was so much fun even my DH got involved  Grin   I got stuck on the design once and he got on his knees and began re-arranging the blocks lol, the engineer in him tried to explain to me the give and take of the pattern.  I hope we have another Camp Sloanie, I will certainly sign up.  I think I will put a small border to frame the top, then some piano keys around that.
I will not have time to finish it this month though, leaving for Baltimore next week, maybe, if the weather lets me fly in.  Our DIL called this morning, she has 33  inches of snow in her driveway and weatherman just said to expect 6-10 more inches tomorrow night, yikes.  She mentioned that in the neighboring town, where the Fractured Prune doughnut shop is that I like to go to  Roll Eyes, they have 40 inches of snow.
Thanks Camp Queen for such a great time and can't wait to get my goodies for winning the first day of camp!

OK, just got back for all morning at the Dr.s. Verdict=UTI Just as I thought, but no phoning in the script. Have to prove it! I'm bummed. Lost lots of camp time=sewing time. The only good news is we are getting 6-12" more starting Wed. a.m. early. Might have to close the office again. Oh, Darn! I've taken my antibiotic and now I'm going to sew the rest of the day away. Perhaps, I'll get a pic or two of the top. Everyone seems to understand contrast way better than I do. Love all your creations. Yes, I'm for another camp weekend REAL soon. This fits so well with the stashbusting goal for 2010. Thanks, Pat.

Ana, excellent use of contrast and color.  Smiley

Bleh, Sharon, I hope you feel better soon.

The last of our last sleet/snow was still melting in the snow-banks this weekend, then we got this.  Now we have nasty wintery mix... snow, sleet and rain all at the same time.  But it is 40ish degrees and all melting nicely so the roads are just spooky rather than terrible.

This was the BEST weekend, Pat.  Thanks for putting it on for us. I had a ball and got soooooo many things done!  Mary was a great guest -- but she's back home now.  And we have water!  Woo hoo!  I never knew flushing could be so satisfying!

Yes!  Camp Sloanie was great fun!  I got so (errr that's sew) much done.  Made GREAT progress on my red, white and blue scrap quilt and got another one quilted together.

By the sound of it I'll be having another mini camp on Wednesday.  With about 12 inches predicted for Tues night thru Wednesday.   Embarrassed

Was able to listen to most of your show today!  LOVE it!!  I was very interested in learning about their company and the publishing process.  How exciting to be involved in the process from the beginning to the printed book!  Sounds like a fun place to work.

I set an alarm for 4pm so I could listen to your show today.  Argh!  I forgot about the time difference so I missed it again.  I will listen to it later.  One of these days I am going to listen to one live!

Great to hear you got home safely Mary and that there's water to flush!  Always a good thing eh?

Well, I still had a mini camp today in between all the other activities.  I had two students come today to work on UFO's so between helping them, I sewed some 1" strips together in blacks and reds inspired by Dennis and Cindy's top.  I got the 36 blocks made, but had to leave to go to a meeting tonight.  Too late to take pictures, but hope to post a picture tomorrow.  This will be a real miniature quilt with the blocks finishing at 2 1/2".  This is too much fun to be legal LOL.  My American Girl Doll, Kitt will have a new quilt to enjoy when it's finished.

Good night all...they're talking snow here in Canada starting tomorrow..we'll see if it actually happens.
