Well taxes are still not done but I've been a busy little bee all day and finished up all the assignments for camp.  Ohhhhhhhh did I dig & pull through my stash and pulled out all those UFO's. I am armed & ready for Camp Sloanie.

Coffee is officially reporting to camp! Posted a whole photo album of pics on my FB, check them out for a good chuckle! Yikes it adds up fast! So glad our spare bedroom has a door! LOL

Well, spent the morning finishing up a Halloween wall hanging.  Just have the binding and a few sets of eyes for the faces and I'm done.

I spent the late morning until evening ironing and cutting the pile of scraps.  The quilt I want to make has 20 of one block style and 29 of another block style.  I have cut out all the pieces for the first 20 blocks.  Tomorrow morning I will so those 20 together and then either cut out fabrics for the 29 or work on come Valentine fabric post cards.

See you in the morning!!

Any more yummy treats coming out of Big Red this weekend Miss Pat??

I just added my stash pulls for the weekend to the Fliker photo group. I also discovered several people asked for the pattern of the steno pad cover with matching pens back in Dec. I'm so sorry I didn't see those requests, but it is not my pattern. It is a free pattern and on a web site. If you BING steno pad covers, I think it will pop up. If you want further info., I'll try to find the site. My ignoance shows with my not checking up on my Fliker, Blog, and any other sites I've joined and only visited once in a great while.  Kiss

Woohoo! I was so excited to see the block for our stash buster weekend. that is going to work perfectly with my picks-I am going with the controlled scrappy I think, but mostly golds/tans, with black  and also a very dark red and dark green, so they will mostly look black. Can't wait! My stash photos are on Flikr too.

Sharon thanks for the steno pad and pen info.

I love the block and the layout. I like how I can use my big prints and they'll still look like prints. Now to decide which one to go for. My browns or the brights.....mmmmm off to breakfast to ponder Smiley

oohhhhhh...  I really like the black, red and white one!  I did start my Camp Sloanie sewing early because I don't know if I'll have any time with my MIL coming into town.

But....  I may just have to look through more scraps to go with the scraps I couldn't use for this quilt to make the Camp Sloanie block.  Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in a few hours of sewing in the mornings.  A senior quilt or two for our guild...  I LIKE this motivation to use up some scraps!

Pat, makes me tired just listening to you.  I was going to say, hope you get a lot done this weekend, but you seem to be very focused, you WILL get a lot done.
