I hope you enjoy and know that each one of you is VERY valuable and everyone contributes more than you could ever possibly know!  Even when you are silent, some one else is listening!!

The Value of One Member -   I have adapted it to quilting….

10 little quilters standing in a line, one disliked the president and then there were nine.
9 ambitious members offered to work late, one forgot her promise and then there were eight.
8 creative quilters had ideas good a as heaven, one lost her enthusiasm, and then there were seven.
7 loyal members got into a fix, they quarreled over projects, and then there were six.
6 quilters remained with spirit and drive, one moved away, and then there were five.
5 steadfast members wished there were more, one became indifferent, and then there were four.
4 cheerful members, who never disagree, till one complained of meetings, and then there were three.
3 eager members… what did they do?   One got discourage and then there were two.
2 lonely quilters, our rhyme is nearly done… one joined a garden club.. and then there was only one…

One faithful member was feeling rather blue, she met with a neighbor, and then there were 2.
2 earnest members each enrolled one more, doubling their number then there were four!
4 determined members just wouldn’t wait, till each one brought another, then there were eight!!
8 excited quilters signed up sixteen more.  In another 6 verses, there will be 1,024!!!
