Although I do quilt, I also find a need to try new crafty things when I see them.

I have discovered that I prefer to crochet vs knitting. Do not scrapbook and not fond of crewel work.  Recently discovered how much I like handwork again so I have a stack of wool applique to do.

The latest project was making centerpieces and something to pin on us for our charity party for Berks Women in Crisis.  I discovered the Frill Flowers and we have made about 60 of them.  Some will go around candles on the table and about 50 are being made into pins to wear.  The organization's color is dark purple so we built our color scheme around that.  The flowers will have a dark purple ribbon attached to it.

HI Candy. I also do crochet. Currently am working on a tablecloth & crocheted rugs. Love them. You aren't to far from me. I'm in Chester County, near Exton. Are you going to the Lancaster show Huh I'm going on Wednesday for the day.
