Barbara Brackman has started a blog to commemorate the sesquicentennial of the civil war.  She is posting a weekly block with the corresponding history.  I am hoping to make these blocks every week.  I will definitely be reading the blog, if nothing else.

Me, too, Sharon.  But did you notice that all the books are available for Kindle, at least I think I saw that.  So you could download the books with the patterns to your new Kindle!

I wasn't going to do it but as I meantioned on the other post last night I looked down and had made the first block, and today as I was cleaning the kitchen table (where my sewing stuff was last night) I cut block two!  Guess I am in.  But not in repro-fabs, just whatever I have.

Yes I came across this blog a day or two ago.  Since they can't be downloaded what I did was copy paste into an email and sent it to myself then saved on aol for future use. Smiley
