Dixie, was wondering .... when you cut your fabric strips to crochet, how wide are you making them?  I may have a book somewhere.

Moving, moving, moving, I'm here Cheesy

Cut the strips 1" wide for the crochet rug. Use a  big size P hook. Works up quickly & don't forget - it's an upper body work out Grin & you don't need a sports bra Roll Eyes just sayin

OK!!!!! now that one jump started my day, Dixie!!!  That move will have to be included in our healthy living topic this year for sure - I'd say at least 15min of crocheting before the Wii - LOL!!!

okay, i'm here too Smiley

dixie - the post with the photos of my Lof the L was old! There ain't gonna be no border! Grin Time is flying. I am way behind on getting this one done.
My goal is to get it done though - between my Christmas gift making.
I'm figuring I should get back to 15 minutes a day of busting.
Today is sewing day - yet to get to it BUT - I plan on at least 2 15 min.s sessions on this one.
Would love to surprise my hubby with a finished quilt for Christmas.
Heck, I'd like to surprise myself Grin

Some times the most simple patterns are the most cute with the right fabrics............ that's all the person sees.  I did a Thimbleberrie Jiffy with race cars for hubby once, and checkered flag for his back - it turned out so cute - and I pieced it in less than a day - but shhhh, don't tell!!

I've joined in over here too.
I'm mostly not real chatty, but can be. <G>
Yesterday was  a real do nothing day.... got some sort of intestinal bug that his about 4:30 in the morning. so spent most of the day in bed.

Today is grocery shopping (first Wed. is senior day... an additional 10% off the tab, which can be pretty significant. )

Then I need to quilt the smallish ones I spray basted before I got sick.

Looking forward to interesting chatter and maybe I will learn how to post pictures here. <G>

Have fun,
Pati, in Phx

Pati go here for the tutorials.. there is one on how to post photos
http://quiltmashup.com/index.php/board,38.0.html

Or put them in the flickr folder and tell us

Sarah you can do it!!! Put it as a daily thing task to sew on the Lady... everyone wins!

Now I want to get a BIG P crochet hook... I think that is a great idea! I tried aunt phillies toothbrush and it's sort of fun to do to.. once i remember how to start it!

I'm here.  I'm supposed to be decorating today, but so far, I've hung one Christmas wallhanging.

I WANT to go stitch on Meadow Breeze.  Maybe decorate one hour, stitch two hours.  How does that sound?  Oh, and there are those customer quilts in the other room!

Good Morning ladies!  Afternoon for some of you already....

I am working on one more customer job, that pays and then I can concentrate on busting out all the aprons for christmas gifts!  The recipients of my aprons are getting their own unique apron that matches their personality/kitchen. And a jar of my home made salsa!

My son got 125 bucks cash to put a beautiful guitar on layaway at the pawn shop.  Hes getting it for 500, and we contributed by putting it on layaway for him.  This HIS christmas present.  OHHHHHH and his guitar quilt that I am not finished making yet! Sheeez...Just a couple seams and then machine quilt.  Mabe I can do it!

Daughter will get something but not sure just what yet. Shes one of those, hard to get a gift for. She already has her orange turning 20 quilt from a couple years ago so she doesnt really need another one.  Shes not much of  cook either (22 yr old) so an apron doesnt fit her lifestyle.   Guess she could get a walmart gift card so she can buy food or clothes.

Well now that I have eaten lunch and had the last of my eggnog latte from yesterday, I should get to work in the studio!  It looks like a storm ripped through but I do know where everything is! hehehe

Had quite a productive day, did a little shopping in our small town - still have a long way to go, made a list, but forgot where I put it.  Also went to Radio Shack for ink, but the guy's wife just opened a clothing shop next door, so stopped in.  I was cracking up when I spotted the cute little tube type cami to go under a blouse................... they didn't understand my amusement, but that's ok....

Havent eaten lunch & about starved (it's 4:30 here)
