You'll have to post a link to the flickr photos... I can't seem to locate them.  It sounds like fun, but I have too many ufo's and unstarted ufo's.  If this is what I think it is it will be similar to the Dear Jane quilt... of which I am collecting the kits monthly and haven't started on them either... but at least I will have all the fabrics ready to use when I am. Bobbie - it worked and I joined!  Very nice.  Refresh my mind--are these the blocks from Sylvia's wedding quilt by Jennifer's books?

Oh, I'm so glad that worked!  Makes me think that my 32 years of working with computers hasn't gone by the wayside!!!!

Yes, this is from the Jennifer Chiaverini books - they now came out with a book called "Sylvia's Wedding Quilt" which contains all the patterns.  They are fun to do, but some of them are really stinkers!

There are quite a few that are paper pieced, and I had to do 3 or 4 so far by hand, because my machine - as talented as my Bernina is - could not conquer them.

Enjoy.

Bobbie,  Since Sylvia and group did all their work by hand, not surprising some did not work on machine.  Roll Eyes

Good point Karen.

Where do you live in Tucson?  My son lived in Marana for about 15 years - really pretty area - liked it a lot, but now he's divorced and living in CA so I guess no more trips to Marana for me.  There was a really nice quilt shop that had all their fat quarters tied up like cactus needles - can't remember the name of the shop, though.

I live in the northeast foothills of Tucson off of the Catalina Highway to Mount Lemmon. We are fortunate enough to have 4 shops in Tucson.  You probably went to the Cactus Quilts.  I live within 10 miles of 3 shops.   Grin

Would love to meet anyone who comes to Tucson.  Just send me a note and we can meet up.  I have family in Phoenix as well and go up there a few times during the year.

Are the Dear Jane and Sylvia's, both 6"  - someone is trying to talk me into the Sylvia's - afraid I wouldn't stick with it, and if I did, I don't think I would do the same settings, just rows of blocks - I'd have to make them into several quilts I think - hee hee - prob make me think I finished something quicker!! That would probably be a good idea - cuz I think some are doing them, and also would encourage each other to pick them up occasionally - don't you have one going too, Pat?

Bobbie, you have a great start going!! Love the blues!!

A Sylvia /Dear Jane?  That would be great.  Dear Jane blocks I believe are 4 inches - boggles my mind!  I have the book but never had the nerve to start them.  Sylvia blocks are all 6 inches.

Hey, Pat, maybe we could change the name.  Can I transfer ownership to you?  I don't know how that would work.
