In very late winter I get my propane turkey fryer out, my buckets and spiles and tap our maple trees.  I love making maple syrup and love eating it through the year.  I tap about 10 trees a year and my dad is my biggest customer.   Hmmm....maybe it's because he gets it for free!  LOL!  Needless to say I don't get much sewing done during this time.

my husband and I use to make maple syrup up here in NH . There is nothing like it  Smiley

ohhh that sounds so good!  My dad and I just got into a debate (started by my mom) over what's better, the real stuff or the really buttery flavored stuff, I vote real but can understand why he disagrees =)

I make my own vanilla extract but that's easy! I can't imagine making maple syrup.  GO YOU!
