I love a good mystery, be a book or a quilt and am looking forward to my first on-line one. Now what fabrics hiding in the cupboard should I pull to use?

I tried to find the Carolina Christmas on her site and couldn't - thinking of doing this. Have done a few mysteries before.

It just sounds so pretty - sort of like the Carolina Lily - it's easy peasy, but soooo pretty. I may have to do at least a small topper to get it off my wanna do list. In red of course!!

You are funny, Dixie LOL Stalkers??? I stalk Pat every morning, but only from afar Hoping to do this mystery, but I may do it "slowly". I still want to complete many other projects and Christmas is almost here!!! (57 days! ) I have only done 1 mystery, but have written many for my guild to do. Will be giving them monthly sections starting in January on a "simple" one so that beginners will be able to follow along no problem. I have another one all designed but need to test before next Sept when I take over the president's position. I want sometime "fun" for them all to do Off to work I go!

I'm in especially since I started this whole mystery talk. I've been looking as my stash for fabrics, but it's sort of hard b/c I don't have amounts yet. Yes, that is posted 11/1. I can't wait either. I really like mystery quilts on line, but I rarely get them finished in the allotted time. That's why I'm busting UFO's right now. LOL I still have that darn earache. I may break down and go to the Dr. OH NO!

Sharon, if you have any hydrogen peroxide at home you can use it in ears as long as there are NO ear tubes or broken ear drums. If you have wax build-up or plkain yuckies in the ear canal the peroxide will "bubble" it away. I will consider doing the mystery quilt. summer of 2009 I patook of an international quilt series at the LQS and have 5 quilts in varying stages - I know UFO's!

Hey, schoolrn1, thanks for the tip. I do have an ear irrigation kit that I bought a year or so ago by Visine. My Dr. told me I do have extra wax. YUCK, the pain is subsiding somewhat. I took a 12 hr. decongestant like Sudafed and one Tylenol. I am feeling better so I hope it lasts. I don't have hydrogen peroxide in the house, but it sounds like something good to have on hand. You guys are the best. No ear tubes or drum breaks that I know of. I used to get terrible earaches as a kid and when they wanted to take out my tonsils my dad refused saying the tonsils would keep CA out of my lungs. Well it was in the 40's.

Had an unpleasant outcome to a mystery quilt once and have avoided doing them since. However, I understand that Bonnie's mysteries can be trusted to achieve a great outcome! I don't mind a lot of little pieces and am looking forward to finding out what we need. I have already been collecting raspberry colored fabrics because I didn't have that in my stash. The other colors she described I am hoping to get from the "Resource Center"! Can't wait!

Sharon - chewing gum helps with inner ear drainage! Hope it clears up soon.
