Yes the stove comes in an off red color.  We won't be really installing it until next spring (as we go to Phoenix for most of the winter) and it will have proper shielding although I'm sure my DH will have that saw blade up there also.  Not much sewing going on as we are busy closing up the campground and putting stuff away for the winter.

Yah got that right Pat.  Never cared for them, including the snakes and spiders!  Always made sure I stamped around alot and used newspaper to fan the air and hole...LOL  And speaking of newspaper   Shocked...that was the worst part of the outhouses IMHO

We do have an outhouse.  It is a leftover from when my DH was first building this place.  It is only closed on 3 sides and is open on the side facing the mountain so it is not dark or buggy.  It came in useful a few years ago when it took a week to get someone to fix a blocked septic tank.  The only bad thing is that it was March and snowy.
