We officially closed the office for tomorrow. I have to go in today but might not make the last two clients who are late afternoon, early evening. We'll see, but at least I'll get to join the stashbusters Camp Sloanie. I'm still working of the radio shows. It's a puzzlement. Roll Eyes

Good Morning Campers! Suppose to be getting a Winter storm starting today 8-10 inches is predicted! So well I was having my morning COFFEE! LOL I was sitting at the table doodling and came up with a few calendar quilt block ideas for several months in the year. Since March is St Patty's Day I am GOING GREEN.................all my blocks will be shades of green and shamrocks quilted all over it! Sew Kool & Sew Green. Now I have to dig through my stash more because I know I have fabric that has dollar bills all over it! LOL

For April I drew an umbrella that will be paper pieced (since the heart I did last month, we all know I have to do more paper pieced blocks, lol) under the umbrella will be raindrops for the remaining days of the month. SEW CUTE!

For May we're doing 31 yo-yo flowers! Need to have a bunch to celebrate Mothers Day!

July is a vertical flag using up all my whites, reds, & some blue with 4 stars spelling out JULY!

For Sept I'm thinking back to school so I am thinking of a bookshelf block holding 30 books.

Oct is going to be another paper piece block with a nice big orange pumpkin! Gotta use up all that orange!

Nov is another paper pieced block with a nice big fat Tom Turkey! More stash busting!

Dec haven't decided yet to many ideas to choose from....ribbon candy, ornaments, a tree, little xmas lights, presents, oh to many to decided right now! LOL

Now I need ideas for June & August? Suggestions welcomed!

Off to report to Camp Sloanie I have some block assembling to do......Blue Jeans & Soccer this quilt is going to my youngest grandson  who is an amazing soccer player, gosh just love watching him hit that ball with his head!

Happy Quilting ladies!

June or August could be VACATION months. You are amazing and creative and ambitious. I'm not going to do all that, but I love reading about your plans. Wink

I'm too pooped to put the ideas into action!  So--I'm going to live vicariously for now.   Wink

I've been teaching a group of 6 newbies this month, and one of them has given me strips from all the fabrics in her quilt for my calendar block for this month!  Isn't she a sweetie?  I'm going to try to get the 'first half' of Feb done today.

I'm actually a couple of days ahead, as I was several days behind and caught up this weekend.   Cheesy  Was on a roll, so I kept going.  LOL  I didn't even think about the Olympics when I kind of developed a "plan" for this month's fabrics...I'm trying to do all reds and pinks...Pinks are a challenge for me b/c I'm not such a pink fan.  But I do like reds, however I've noticed that I don't have a lot of reds in my scrap bag...er...bags.
