Thanks!  Some of the credit needs to go to one of my sisters.  I'd sent her pictures of what I was working on and begged her to send me some scrap strips.  I used several of what she sent in the June block.  I also just pulled a few fabrics to start July.  After the start of the month with red, white, & blue, I got stuck on what I wanted to do next.

So, that got put away for the day and I'm working on making a couple of grocery bags.  I've got pictures on my blog of the one that I made...LOVE the free pattern and the resulting bag is strong & holds a lot.

Great bag pattern!  And I really like your blog--such fun, fun colors and design.  Thanks for sharing!

Thanks!  I've got fabric cut for two more shopping bags that are "masculine" so that DH will use them...haha.  If it weren't for him, I'd do all girly stuff.   Cheesy

Go Go Go...you can do it.. you really can!!!  If you are TOO far behind then just start with July 1... fill in the previous months later. It is a mental game at this point.. you can win!

You ROCK!!!! This is a bit of a labor of love.. it's NOT HARD .. but in order to stay on top of it you really do need to sew strips or blocks or whatever in a very consistent manner. It took me two tries to get mine done!

Great going TheaM1!  I'm through with July.  I have the strips for August cut through today, so I need to sit down and sew them this weekend when I can finally take a breather from the crazy work week!

How's everyone doing?  It seems like ages ago that I finished July's block ahead of time.  Now I'm behind.   Wink

Hey!  Yeah...I'm behind, too.  But only about 3 weeks.  I actually have a reprieve coming up over Labor Day weekend--no family obligations <GASP!!> and no plans made as of yet (trying to keep it that way, too!)  Grin.  So, I'm hoping that I'll catch up on August's strip and get September going as well.  That's my plan anyway, and I'm sticking to it...until the next unexpected thing comes up!  HAHA!
