Oh Noooooo!  Now to compete with my UFO time you have introduced me to some books I need to read- just placed an order with Amazon- I don't know which passion is worse-quilting or reading-both are major drawbacks to my budget. Cheesy

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE...did I mention LOOOOOOVE Janet Evanovich?  LOL   Grin  Typically I am ROFL when I read her books.

Budget...for books???  Well, I try not to buy books anymore...I go to the library a lot.  But, I have to admit that there are certain authors that I just HAVE to have in my library...can you guess one of them???  LOL  A circle of friends and I also have a habit of sending our books around so, often times I'll go MONTHS without having to buy a book b/c we'll be on the "merry go around" of swapping books.  It's great!

And about time to read/quilt.  I discovered that my library has FREE audio books for download!  I don't even have to leave my house to do it!  And it's not just dusty old yucky books, either!  They have good, current books by good authors.  Of course, like regular "books" you might have to get on a waiting list, but there are lots that are available when you want them.  That way I can listen while I sew...or <gasp> have to do that thing called housework!  YUCK!  LOL

Sharon, I really like Sandra Dallas too. Have you read "The Quilt That Walked to Golden" ? Not really a novel like her others, more like history. Enjoyable though.

Yes, I probably have almost as many books on my want to read list as I have quilts on my UFO list. LOL
