As a child I learned how to knit from my mother,crochet from my grandmother and later in my early 20's when I first went on disability I learned totally through sites on the internet how to quilt. Without my favourte quilting sites I would have died of bordom. Learning to quilt has diffinately lowered the stress and and gave me something to look forward to each and every morning when I wake up. It's given me a reason to stay positive. I dream one day of starting my own quilting supply company and starting up a charity that would donate quilt supplies to others who are on a low income due to a disabiltiy.

Quilting is my therapy.  With three Marines in the family and a 14 yr old daughter!  This is much cheaper than a shrink!  Also the family reaps the benefits of my projects   Patty
