i really need to get another yarn project done.. but I only crochet and really love using variegated yarn and doing a whole afghan!  That just seems to be my thing... although I have 2 granny square sets I started and just don't like the stopping and starting

I just finished a wool throw.  It's knitted but would work for crochet too.  Since I'm lost as a pattern follower I worked it in 'log cabin' style.  Knit or crochet a rectangle or square, next color add on to a side and go as far as you like. Continue around until it's the size you want.  Super simple and it's all about color.

I used to knit and I can crochet, but crochet hurts my L hand more than knitting. I have 1/2 sweater done for DD that's been in that stage for 4-5 yrs. It's not turning out like it was in my head. Lot's of work for little pattern show (fuzzy yarn). I might pull it out after Christmas and before NY's eve.

Well I'm impressed with three pairs!  All the same pattern? You must know it by heart
I must get knitting, but I've been making tree skirts first. Special request from my nieces...

LOL Sharon!

I have to try knitting socks one of these days.  Mostly I do afghans, hats & scarves and occasionally a sweater.  Mom dug out the first sweater I made dad and gave it to me for matthew to wear.  I couldn't believe it was still around.

no fancy pattern - just plain socks LOL  Before I was "attack" by the quilting bug, I sewed my own clothes and made many, many knitted sweaters!
