Thank you for sharing with us. I Love Peonies! Growing up in NE Nebraska my grandparents had at least 12 plants with the most wonderful selection of colors. If they weren't ready for Memorial Day, my grandpa would cut the bud stems and put them in warm water in the basement and then have lots to place on all of the family graves. I will be watching for them in the grocery store and buy my annual bunch of 3-5.

They are an amazing flower! They are full of ants... LOL! the ants open the buds... at least when on a bush in the ground... so they are only for the front porch!

I love that new ruler! The owner of my favorite shop will be at market, too, so I'll bet I won't need to mention it to her. Just in case she misses it, I'll be sure to let her know about it. Re: Peonies.......I'll be going home to Iowa and a quick visit with my mom so I can be there on Memorial day. One of my favorite things is to go visit the really old cemetaries out in the country and see all the beautiful peony bushes. Reminds me of when I was young and would go along with my grandma as she tended the graves of her parents. After the Memorial services are over, my mother is going to come back to MN for a visit. I have finally convinced her that she can do it and that we will have fun going to thrift shops, fabric and quilt shops, eating out, etc. It has been 12 years since she visited because when my dad was so sick, I always went home because travel for them was not possible. Absolutely gorgeous weather awaits you, Pat, and everyone else that is coming to Market!!

Really impressed with that ruler! Why hasn't anyone come up with this before? No more of that moveable tape that doesn't stick to much of anything. Yay! Hope you are having fun, Pat, and don't work too hard. Hang Peonies upside down outside before bringing them into the house. The ants will leave overnight. HIH

Pat, I finally got to listen to your radio show live - 1st time. What great fun to hear you and Roseann. You were both so excited about Market and I loved hearing all about the great things you saw and bought. Can't wait to see the typewriter on the blog!

I agree with Karen. You both sounded so excited and you had so many fun things to share. I'm looking forward to the "visuals" of those on your blog.....and hearing how the typewriter makes the trip east. :-)
