The applique is beautiful. I wanted to know if you used 1/4 ' on the holly applique. It looks like it. The other one looks like 1/2" for the flower applique? ?? I know the directions said you use the 1/2" bias maker. Just wanted to know if my eyes are seeing the holly stems smaller? Thanks, Lyn

Hi, Lyn! I'm doing the flowers and used the thin vines and kept mine all "curled" like the holly one. I cut my vines just "slightly" wider than on the sheet. Looks to me that the 1/2" was for the flower one; see how the flowers ones are straight? I kept the curl Hang on .... will get my applique pic up for you .... Yes... I'm done the applique!! Woo Hooooo!

Thank you, Anita, I did the same. Fused the vine down. Now if I did this by hand, yes it would be a bias binding I would use. I just had waaaaay too much fun the past 18 hours

Wow girls! I love them all! I am enjoying this so much I may have to go find and buy me a christmas charm pack somewhere and do a christmas one too. I worked all day and got the final two corners pieced and chose and cut out the applique pieces. I haven't fused them as I want to ponder it for the night to see if I think it needs anything changed. But I actually think it looks pretty darn good as is! Heading out to bowling tonight and have to start on a customer quilt this weekend, but if I have any sit down time, I'll start stitching down the applique.

Got my center done. I had quite a learning curve with the fusible applique. I had to use wonder under as I couldn't get the heat and bond. But in the end I was successful. I love it.

Those appliques are gorgeous! Love both the holly and the flowers. This is definitely on my to do list when I get my UFOs done. I need a Xmas wall hanging.
Pat that's one super pattern!
