I just posted my Lucky Charms with applique fused. Everyones are looking so good, and it's amazing how different too! I definitely will make another one.

Gorgeous, Deb!!  Just beautiful!  Very traditional Christmas.

My Christmas strips I have aren't your traditional red & green; wonder if I should go traditional?    Nah....that would mean buying more fabrics LOL   I will make my fabrics work, but have to get some red/green though.

I decided to change the center square bkgrnd. I made it blue instead of muslin. I love the blue with silver swirls and that maybe dumb to cover it up but I like it better than the cream center. Watching college football. Wish we had the ticket, but it's too expensive. Gonna print out the templates. Grin

Finally got up the nerve to start the machine applique.  I have never done machine applique.  I only have the zig-zag stitch but I tested it and it sews best on the narrower setting and I must say it looks great.  I don't have an open toe foot but then special purpose foot is clear so that helps.  I am definitely going to get an open toe foot when the truck is fixed and I can go to Rapid City.

You are doing a beautiful job with your applique!    The zig-zag is working up really nice.    Keep it up.

I have the orginial Bernina 830 and it doesn't do the button hole.  The mini zig-zag looks good.  A friend with a much newer Bernina has offered to let me use hers for the applique.  Decisions, decisions.  I meant to go get thread today but it was so gorgeous out that I got A LOT done moving things into the shed and organizing the garage!

Glad the weather was nice somewhere.  It never got over 45 degrees here today.  I had the heat on and the long underwear.  Tomorrow it is supposed to be back in the 70's.
