The Pioneer Woman always has incredible recipes.  Almost all my best recipes come from there!  I made her lemon pasta this week ... delish!

Hi all,
today I went to a LUAU - and it was, of course, a pot luck.
The pig made the big commitment, everyone else just brought side dishes.   Wink
I took raisin pineapple sauce in a slow cooker (natch!) used 1/2 c honey, 1 c brown sugar, 1 c raisins, a large can of crushed pineapple, 4 Tblsp corn starch, 2 cans of water (combined the corn starch & water and then stirred into the rest) and a tablsp of low salt soy sauce to help cut the fruity taste.   heated it for 4 hours, served over shredded pork.  and rice.
now, back to the sewing machine!

oh no - the pig was not a friend of mine, fortunately!
btw - that recipe makes enough sauce to cover the whole pig, so if you make the whole thing, well, forewarned is forearmed or sumsuch, the really nice thing is that we combined some of the leftover pork with the leftover sauce and I don't have to cook tonight!  YIPPIE!!
