The author of Drop Dead Gorgeous is Linda Howard. The audio again is so good. I'm on the 8th and last disc when the psycho b**** will be exposed I hope. Blair is the heroine and her fiancee is a gorgeous cop. Her zone is her neck but there is not a vampire in site - just blood boiling kisses. LOL

I like this topic. I sometimes get complaints that my characters are a bit too racy. More often than not, my readers like them but publishers can be conservative.

I'm just finishing #15 in the Plum series. It's more of the same, which is fun. Not much in the relationship dept, though as she's sworn off men.

No worries Pat, it doesn't last long! LOL  How could you stay away from Ranger and Joe!  Not me. LOL
Terri, I like the characters I read about to have more in common with me and my girlfriends than less.  That little "sexy" characteristic seems to make those characters more real to me.  Stephanie and Lula make me laugh out loud because I can see my girlfriends and I actually saying some of the things they do in situations or even reacting the way they do.  Just fun.
I also really like multiple but very different characters coming together like Emilie Richards last book "Happiness Key" and the one I just finished by Marie Bostwick "A Thread of Truth".  Both were great reads!

all you need is a reader like Microsoft Reader or Adobe Digital Editions software, then download the books in those formats.

L. A. Banks  - Vampire Huntress series is hot!!! I love Stephanie Plum also - so funny!!
Sookie Stackhouse by Charlaine Harris is wonderful also. The HBO Tru Blood series is very risque - storyline is changed a bit but still good. Laural K Hamilton is great!
I love vampire stories even the cozy type ones that are out too.

oooooooooohhhhhhhh nobody told me how risque the Outlander is!  Holy smokes it kind of makes you sweaty! LOL  I've never been one to read "historical setting" type of books but I'm reading this whole series.  If the rest is even half as spicy, as well as a good story, as the Outlander then I'm so there!

Krissy (my daughter) and I are hooked on the new series on CWTV called the Vampire Diaries.  It's a "made for Cable" type but is pretty good,,,has lots of the Twilight series feel to it with a bit of Buffy the Vampire Slayer slammed in there as well.

Yes, Margi, I'm watching Vampire Diaries, too.  I wasn't sure about it after the first one, but each episode seems to be better and better.
