Friend saw "One for the Money" and said she just could not get her head around Debbie Reynolds as the Grandma. She also said she thought the partner was "greasier." Otherwise she liked it and she has read all the books.

I would have liked Betty white in the role. Debbie Reynolds was more elegant than i would imagine grandma Mazur to be.

I'll wait for the DVD. If I go to the movies, as soon as the lights go down, I'm asleep Haven't read anything except the forum & occasionally directions for a quilt pattern LOL. Still reading the "Help" Only read on trips & I haven't been on one for awhile

Reading those high heeled mysteries. Not riveting, but the main female does kind of grow on you. I want to see Stephaie Plum movie and I saw a trailer of Debbie as Grandma Mauzer. think she can pull if off. Besides, she needs the money. ALthough Betty WHite would be great.

Sharon I got that high heel series... have not tried it yet! I think the entire universe wanted Betty White for the Plum movie!

We saw the "Girl" today and it was great. There were some changes to the novel, but if you haven't read or seen the Swedish movies, you wouldn't know!

I am struggling with "Careless in Red" by Elizabeth George. Don't know whether the struggle is because of the story or because of the Vicodin! At any rate, I keep falling asleep.

Bobbie after my heart surgery I read the same book three ties before I got it. I had started it before the surgery, but after the surgery I could not remember the part I had read, so started over. I started over several times because of the drugs I was one. My mind was all out of whack from the anesthesia and the pain meds and I could not remember if I was coming or going, so I say blame the drugs.
